Solution Engineer

Support B2B client onboarding, third-party vendor integrations, and hands-on technical issue resolution across external systems and our internal platform.

About the Role

  • We are looking for a hands-on Technical Solutions Engineer to support B2B client onboarding, third-party vendor integrations, and technical issue resolution.
  • You will work directly with clients and vendors to connect external systems to our product using our existing internal framework and infrastructure.
  • This role does not require building the core platform from scratch, but you should be able to understand how the system works, configure integrations, validate data flows, troubleshoot issues, and escalate product or engineering gaps with clear context.
  • This is a hands-on client-facing technical role, not a pure pre-sales, support, or infrastructure engineering position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical point of contact for B2B clients during onboarding, integration, and early usage.
  • Help clients complete API configuration, authentication setup, data mapping, workflow setup, and integration testing.
  • Work with third-party vendors to connect external services, APIs, workflows, or data pipelines to our internal platform.
  • Respond quickly to client and vendor technical questions, blockers, and escalations.
  • Identify whether issues are caused by client setup, vendor behavior, configuration problems, product limitations, or engineering defects.
  • Escalate issues to Product and Engineering with clear reproduction steps, impact, logs, and recommended next actions.
  • Maintain lightweight integration guides, troubleshooting notes, and vendor-specific playbooks.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical solutions, implementation engineering, customer engineering, technical support engineering, or integration engineering.
  • Comfortable working directly with B2B clients and external vendors.
  • Familiar with REST APIs, webhooks, authentication, JSON, data mapping, and integration testing.
  • Able to write or modify simple scripts in Python and/or TypeScript for debugging, validation, or automation.
  • Familiar with SQL and PostgreSQL for querying data and investigating issues.
  • Basic understanding of logs, metrics, dashboards, alerts, and observability tools.
  • Strong ownership, communication skills, and ability to respond quickly in client-facing situations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with enterprise software, AI platforms, workflow platforms, data platforms, or integration-heavy products.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors, implementation partners, or external service providers.
  • Familiarity with Postman, Grafana, Datadog, Sentry, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or similar tools.
